One of The Fun Club's biggest undertakings in President Amy's year is the building of 63 raised garden beds that were placed at 10 elementary schools and and filled 3 concrete beds at Springhill Elementary in the Anchorage School District. During the school year, students will learn to plant, tend, and harvest various vegetables in their gardens. These vegetables will then help feed students as well as donate to the Children's Lunchbox Program. The Children’s Lunchbox program provided 350,024 fresh meals in 2017 to 11 different sites in Anchorage. One school alone, in 2017, provided over 800 pounds of potatoes and carrots from 16 garden boxes.
